Wow. All flavored tobacco products look like they are going to be banned in New York City. The list of legal flavors will now only include: tobacco, menthol, mint, and wintergreen. The council is expanding the FDA ban to non-covered products like cigars and smokeless tobacco.
The mayor is expected to sign the bill.

Bans on snus are so insanely stupid that we shouldn’t have to talk about them, let alone fight them. However, there seems to be some traction for EU snus right now, and there may be review as soon as next year.
