Two new General snus are set to launch Monday — General Classic Blend and General Nordic Mint — online and in three cities for trials at convenience stores. These two snus will be, for all intents and purposes, the snus you may be able to get at a seven-eleven in the next year or so [...]

General Smooth White is kind of a surprise. Looks like the case was a hit with Catch White Medium Mint.
It’s drier than your average General White (just 40% water) and it’s a little smaller with less nicotine (7mg/portion).
Looks cool.
Comes out March 1.

They are Strong Mint and Strong Classic. Both will be available in about a week. He are some short descriptions of them, assuming the samples I have here are the same formulation…
Both have about 14/mg of nicotine per portion, and the tins have 20 portions each.
This one is a lot like one of the other [...]

Man, Swedish Match already told me this, but then they gave me too much beer, so I totally forgot.
The Kardus 2010 is Javanese tobacco and arrack. Javanese means from the island of Java in Indonesia. Arrack is South Asian rum. I have no idea what it really tastes like, since I don’t get out to [...]

Swedish Match just announced that they’re changing N&J Black to N&J White. The difference? The bag and tin. It should be available in early July.
Last week I told you about this, but I didn’t have a picture. Instead I did an artistic recreation:
That’s pretty close, if you ask me.

New snus:
The next Catch snus is coming in the next few weeks: Glow. This one is elder lime, and I have little idea of what to expect… limey? Old? We’ll see.
Dead snus:
1847 is going bye-bye at the beginning of June. Of course, I just started getting into the white portions a few weeks ago.

Today we’re seeing two new snus on the horizon. First, there’s Jakobsson’s Wintergreen.
This is the newest snus offering from Gotlandssnus, a high quality though low-key snus maker. This, however, is somewhat interesting. These portions are slightly bigger than your average pouch. Here are the mathematics…
Typical Snus Tin = 24 grams
J’s WG Tin = 24 grams
Typical [...]

Found this on Northerner today. Kind of a cool idea. I don’t know the specifics, but it looks like you buy their pack of five test flavors and vote on which one you want to be released. The test flavors are expected to ship in late May.
check it.

Review: Mint, mint, mint. I love mint. It’s nearly here. Mid-February, they say. Let’s see… It’s like General mini mint but bigger. That’s clear. It’s also strangely soft… like someone massaged the tobacco before they loaded it into the pouch — probably from the inside of the plant, like kobe. Tastes really nice, minty and [...]

Mellow is kind of a dirty word when it comes to snus. Yet that’s the name of the new Catch…
Review: I’m not sure I’m confident enough with my sexuality to carry this tin… Still, mellow is a neat snus. You might not guess it from the pink tin, but Mellow is more subtle than some [...]
