No Link Between Snus and MS
More good news for snus:
“The scientists, from the University of Karolinska, said in a statement that male smokers were almost two times more likely than non-smokers to develop MS [Multiple sclerosis], and women smokers were almost one and a half more likely to develop the disease.
“But the same does not hold true for users of a Swedish smokeless tobacco product, known as snus. This led the researchers to conclude that other factors in cigarette smoke may be behind the MS risk.”
