Claq Qui

Review: So, I’m finally trying out Roda Lacket Claq Qui. As I just love regular Roda Lacket, I’ve been really excited about trying this. But the fates have been conspiring against me for a while. Let me explain. When I ordered this tin a few weeks back, GetSnus accidentally sent me regular Roda Lacket instead. However, since I ordered like 20 tins, I didn’t notice for several days — until I was looking for it to give it a review.
I searched around for a while, but I had no luck finding it… I asked my wife. She had no idea what I was talking about. Neither did my dog… Luckily, I had taken a picture with my phone of all the snus I’d gotten when it first arrived — so I could make Francisco jealous…
I looked at the photo and realized that there was no Claq Qui! Instead there was an extra tin of Roda Lacket. Mystery solved, I sent a message to GetSnus explaining what happened. The next day they told me they were shipping me a fresh can. Excellent. They fixed the problem very fast and without any hassle.
Now Claq Qui might just have the coolest looking design of any snus. I think it looks like splattered paint — I’m an artist. Francisco said it was splattered blood — he’s a sicko. Either way though, it looks really cool.
Tearing into the can, it smells a little ammoniated — not horribly so but, its there, like most stong guys. It also smells a little like strawberries. The portions are not white, although I expected them to be white for some reason. Probably because RL is white and the tin is white.
While there is a hint of fruit on the palet, the strongest flavor I get is woody tobacco. After about 15 minutes, the woodyness seems to withdraw a little, leaving a salty tobacco flavor with the mildest hints of fruit. Although its not quite as delicious as some regular strength snus, for a strong snus, it’s surprisingly tasty.
Suggested use time:
Claq Qui changes flavor after the first few minutes. From that point it seems consistent and nice for as long as you keep it in. (I stopped at about one and a half hours).
Dominant Flavors:
Tobacco, Fruit
The Prognosis: My favorite strong portion snus to date. It’s the perfect choice when you want that extra kick.
Buzz Factor:
Strong
Dr. Snus Rating:
++++ (Excellent)
